What can I say ??? After two days of showing it was time to let our hair down at the dinner. Jarrod, who put the finishing touches to Armani for that Plush Puppy excellence,me who basically just took the  dogs in the ring,Bianca - Brady's handler extraordinaire and Sharon, who along with Gaye Jones, did all the grooming on my dogs then handled Armani for me. On a lighter note thanks to Michelle for the constant supply of Zabibo !!!
TIAKINA TRI TO HAVE SOME FUN

Bailey was the surprise packet at the National. With only a couple of open shows under her belt I had no idea how she would handle the plane trip, the strange surroundings of a motel and the whole atmosphere of a large dog show.
She took it all in her stride, performed beautifully for me and after all the attention she received in the grooming department looked great for an immature 8 month old.
Winning the class of 12 minor puppies she set the tone for the day, going on to win Best Opposite Minor Puppy in Show. What a wonderful start to her real show career and I hope she will follow in the pawprints of her older sister Grand Champion Tiakina Thanx Forth Memory.
TIAKINA THE END OF THE ROAD

Rianna was certainly one of the youngest entrants in Junior class, just having turned 1 the day before.  It was her first trip away too and she coped as I thought she would - nothing ever bothers her.
In a class of 20,she took 2nd place, beaten only by her half sister - both sired by Armani.
She finished her trip by winning junior bitch class at the Brisbane Royal 2 days later.
Exactly 14" she is the epitome of feminity to me. Again some expert grooming meant she looked a million dollars on the day.
CH.TIAKINA TAILORD BY ARMANI

Armani is of course a veteran of trips away with me now, having made several over the years, but this was the first time he had been handled by anyone else.
With his stable outgoing temperament this 14 3/4" little dynamo won 2nd place in a very strong Open Dog class of 14,all of which are Champions and 6 are Grand Chamions.
Another of his progeny won the Intermediate bitch class, making this a very successful national for my boy.
Many thanks to Jarrod for  those final grooming touches and to Gaye and Sharon for spending so much time on him.
Sharon as well for your expert handling.
These are the three dogs I brought over to the National with me. Also shown were Ch.Tiakina Tilyabluintheface and Gr.Ch. Tiakina Thanx Forth Memory.
I met Bianca and Michelle for the first time and couldn't be happier with the home that Brady has and the excellent way he is handled in the ring by Bianca and has taken over her bed !! I call them the "B" team but they are anything but 'b' in their performance and results. I give them 'a+' all the way.
NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN IS THE BRAINS SIDE OF TEAM TIAKINA WITH SANDRA AND NIC ACCOMPANYING DYLAN AND JASPER.
Taking out High in Trial for the second National in a row I must congratulate Nic and Jasper for all the hard work that goes into making a top agility dog.
And commiserations to Sandra with Jasper's litter brother Dylan who once again was the bridesmaid, just being pipped at the post.
Third time lucky Sandra, you can be magnificent in Melbourne.
Thank-you to these two who put so much time and effort in to prove just how smart this breed is
